Yes, as long as you have completed the Pay Over Time period to own your number, and the new provider supports number porting, you can transfer your premium personalized number to a different carrier.

You can check your phone's usage or your current or ex carrier plan limits to decide how much data you've used in the past, and therefore which plan you should select.

New York Mobile is a premium postpaid wireless provider, a cut above your average prepaid MVNO. As such, we will bill you monthly and your payment will be due every month on the 15th. We use Stripe for invoicing and you'll receive an email with a link to your invoice every month. Each invoice will cover the following month's billing, including your plan, premium number costs, and any additional services, plus any additional expenses incurred in the previous billing cycle such as mid-cycle Top Ups. Please note that your first month of service will be billed in the following month, and your following month's service will also be included in that invoice. Auto Pay customers will see their payments swept from their accounts about an hour after invoices are sent out every month.

If you selected eSIM during the order process your eSIM will be emailed to you. After your order is complete, check your inbox for an email from New York Mobile with your eSIM QR code. Simply scan the code with your phone's camera and set up in your device. With New York Mobile's easy eSIM activations and the ability to use the second SIM on your phone you can choose how you want to use your new number when you activate.

Our bill cycle is a full calendar month, pro-rated for your first month, and then paid in advance therafter. If you activate your account on the 2nd, your first bill can look bigger because you are effectively paying for 2 months of service.

No, during the time you have a Temp number assigned to your account, you will need to use your account email address to login to the self service web portal or app.

Yes you can, as long as your phone is compatible with our network. In fact, our Device Protection included in our Bundled Plans and available as an option in our Create Your Own plans, covers "bring your own" devices. We recommend checking with your current carrier that your phone is "unlocked" before you discontinue service with them. Or, you can add a New York Mobile personalized phone number as a second SIM. (Check your phones SIM type and if it offers dual SIM. Also, be sure and order the right SIM type for your phone)
