Pre-Activation Checklist
Step 1: Your Phone - Since most phones are compatible with our network, make sure your phone is charged up and the software has been recently updated.
Step 2: If Transferring Your Number - Gather your account information to transfer your current number. You’ll need your Account Number, Account PIN or Port Out PIN, and the service address on the account. You can get this by calling your current carrier.
Step 3: Your New York Mobile SIM - Have your New York Mobile SIM or eSIM Voucher.
Step 4: Make sure your device is connected to Wi-Fi.
Step 1: To locate the SIM card tray, check the side or bottom edge of your phone. Look for a small hole used to eject the tray.
Step 2: Insert a SIM ejector tool into your phone’s SIM card tray hole. Push gently until the tray pops out. Take careful note of the orientation of the tray and the SIM card within.
Step 3: Next, grab the New York Mobile SIM card from your SIM Kit. It’s a small chip that pops out of a larger plastic card. Pop out the SIM card to the correct size (there are three available) and place it in the tray. The SIM card tray has a small notch in one corner, so the SIM card will only fit one way.
Step 4: Push the SIM card tray back in until it clicks shut. Power cycle your device and your service should be activated.
